Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

TCG's brother is building us a crib since a standard crib will not work for me. He's a builder so my only real concern is him actually getting the crib to us on a timely basis. So we're getting a co-sleeper bassinet.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

In the meantime you can also clear out a dresser drawer at appropriate height.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I love that woman and her new possum friends!

And, for your amusement, a programmer's life (with illustrations!).

What I didn't need today is for my PCP to question my OB's decisions and freak me out. She thinks the glyburide I'm taking for my GD is dangerous for ltc.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'd trust your OB to have greater and more current knowledge on what drugs are safe during pregnancy. It used to be thought that glyburide wasn't ideal for GD, but more recent tests show that it either doesn't cross the placental barrier at all, or only minimally crosses it, and it's generally regarded as just as safe as insulin.

Always Anti-fascist!

I would agree that most moms I know say you you don't use all the stuff on he lists. Can I get some no surprises -ma for the dental cleaning today? I used to take it in some stride, but sometimes there are situations I don't know I have and it's stressful.Thanks.

Thanks Teppy. I was i no way expecting you to respond to that. I'll discuss it with my OB at my next appointment just because my PCP seems to think I should go off of it a few weeks before ltc is born.

Thrive to spite them

So I dropped my chromebook but it seemed to survive.

The private room that opened up has been given to someone else. Which, I think means, if there's another admit I'll get a roommate and I don't know if I can deal with that.

I want to talk to my nurse or social worker or someone but I can't because they are on shift change and it's just. I know I'm not the most important person here and I still have a place to myself but I've been stating since Saturday how important this is to me and it doesn't feel like it's been taken seriously.
