I don't give a good gorram about relevant, Wash. Or objective. And I ain't so afraid of losing something that I ain't gonna try to have it. You and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

as I remember a friend who lived in Columbia Heights before it was schmancy who had a woman and her john sexing it up under an umbrella on my friend's back porch!

Did he charge them rent?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

My old apartment was first floor, on the alley, when I lived on the Plaza, and it got a LOT of traffic, day and night. I was a night owl, of course, so I saw a LOT. Heard a lot, from fights to sex to peeing, and often would amuse myself by letting people get into whatever they were doing and then, in a bright, curious voice saying "You know, you're peeing/fucking/blowing him right under my window?" usually to horrified shrieks and running away.

Fighting just irritated me, because 9 times out of ten it was a couple fighting and I felt compelled to listen and a few times intervened directly when it got ugly, but mostly ended up hollering something like STFU, people are trying to sleep, often with a Greek chorus of irritated neighbors.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I hope they were using more protection than just the umbrella ....

Toddson, I don't think she looked that close!! The way she tells it, she at first thought it was coming from her roommate's bedroom, then eventually looked out the window...

Same rule as with cats: if you make a baby on my porch, I get to have you neutered.

THIS is a good rule.

That's a lovely dream, Connie.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Got two more job rejections today. Neither were from places where I'd even interviewed, but still, that's two more possibilities gone. Still have one more interview coming up, and one place where I had two interviews and no definite response yet. Also signed up with a placement agency for teaching at private schools.

Trying not to panic. I know I made the right decision in not staying at my current job. This is not my corner of the sky.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I don't feel like I've made progress.

I'm sorry, askye. I think some days, just making the attempt is progress.
