Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

It takes a bit of planning, but worth it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The problem is that TCG will want to watch Meet the Press at the same time. I'll figure something out. Even if it involves some aheming. We decided that we're not going to pull the plug until after this season of Penny Dreadful.

Our all day project today was to unload TCG's grandmother's china and all of my tea things into the new china cabinet. I just posted a picture of it all filled on Facebook, but I'll try to post it here later as well, after I upload them to my computer.

I saw that china cabinet, and I'd be terrified all the time of it falling over.

It's pretty solid piece of furniture and we're going to secure it to the wall.

I'm not very good with grown-up furniture.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We decided that we're not going to pull the plug until after this season of Penny Dreadful.

It's easily ahemable, as I just nabbed it last night.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Well, the school where I didn't want to work rejected me anyway. One more interview on Thursday. This one is for a school where I think I'd really like working.

I have a pile of 30-year-old plastic modeling and military history magazines that Hubby hauled around with him since 1977. eBaying these hurts, but I'm hoping there are modelers and similar history buffs out there who will be giddy to see these and be happy to give them appreciative homes.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

It seems (knock on wood) that what seemed like an allergic reaction to the Lexapro last week was a one-time thing. I haven't had any other itchy allergic symptoms since then.

I am having some minor issues that I think may be from the Lexapro (mainly waking up WAY too early and being unable to fall asleep; also being kind of dopey/tired during the day), but if they are caused by the Lexapro, I'm willing to give it a couple of weeks to see if they go away (which is often the case when starting a new drug).

It's bad timing, though, because the next 2 weeks are stupid busy, and I genuinely don't have the spoons to deal with everything. It'll all happen; just...it'll be rough.

That said, I told Tim last night that if these 2 stupid busy weeks hadn't been looming, I might not have decided to go to the doctor (because I knew I needed help dealing with them), so in the end it's a good thing. I hope.

TL;DR: I'm just dopey/tired and stressed.
