[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh Hil, much ~ma to get past this quickly.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

You know what the Best Thing is? When you reply privately to one person from a email sent to a bunch of people, and that person Replies All so everyone can see the thing you intended to be private. Now an even bigger kerfuffle will ensue than the one I was trying to avoid in the first place! All I can do now is pray my boss doesn't get involved.

IDIOT.

brillig

Mass emails are dangerous for everyone.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yes, but they had to do that manually to have it go to everyone again. That's not a mass email accident. Ugh.

Oy. Crisis averted, I think, as long as no one decides my boss needs to be informed. (Hint: she really doesn't, but if she is, she'll decide she must Do Something, which usually results in me drinking a lot.)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ugh, Zen.

A woman showed up 2 hours late today for her cardiac ultrasound and I ended up having to throw a minor tantrum not to have to wait to see the doctor after her. But I scheduled my appointments so that I would have an hour gap to stay on my GD eating schedule, and luckily the technician was on my side. She doesn't like to encourage people to e that late by rewarding them by actually seei them that day.

sj, every time you write GD, I read it as something else... more expressive. Which fits in context, so it takes me a minute to remember what you're actually saying!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Zen, get out of my brain cause I read GD the same way. Every. Time.

Glad you had a tech on your side, sj.

Same here. And it usually fits perfectly. (I suspect sj plans this)

Sorry. No not planned. I am just lazy and so brain dead I can't even figure out what you're referring to.

There putting me on one pill a day because my morning reading is consistently too high. She said my daytime readings have been almost consistently perfect so if I need to cheat with a bite or two of something not so good every once in a while I shouldn't worry about it.
