[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm mostly breathing OK now, but after coughing all day, my lungs just hurt. I'd thought I'd been getting better, but then today was a lot worse than it's been in a while.

Zen, my doctor was the one who said to take it as soon as you get out of bed. No exercise, no caffeine, nada. She didn't say to take it lying down, just before any activity.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The thought of sj's pregnancy belly made me smile.

It does feel nice to finally have the start of a pregnancy belly that actually looks like that, as opposed to just feeling like I'm looking fatter. Apparently when you're bigger to start with it takes longer.

I avoided seltzer all day yesterday and didn't do anything else differently, and I had my best morning numbers yet. It could be a complete coincidence, but I'm going to continue to avoid it and see if the trend continues.

In looking around the apartment, trying to see what can be sold, donated, tossed, or packed, my eyes are on my wee demitasse collection. I have done nothing to grow the collection, in fact I've lost pieces in the last couple of moves. I know there are a few folks here who collect and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in rehoming some of these? If so, message me and I'll send you pictures.

After (whitefont for gross) coughing up a whole ton of mucus , I'm breathing a bit better. I still start coughing if I try to take a deep breath or move around too much, but I'm OK if I just sit and rest. Still not sure how I'll be on the planes, but I guess I'll see in a few hours.

Thrive to spite them

Maybe the whitefont stuff means you are on the mend.

I'm back to hating therapy. Mostly because I don't want to do the work and feel the pain and also now they are talking about discharge from here in like 3 weeks. Which doesn't seem long enough. I don't know what to do.

On top of it I came home and found my front door a jar which freaked me out on a ton of levels. Nothing stolen. I found Penny. It's been windy and my storm door won't stay closed (even when latched it pops open).

So I got my keys and locked the front door and went outside and pushed -it popped open. It's been really windy so I'm thinking the wind popped it open. The mobile home needs to be releveled and I'm thinking that in combination with the storm door slamming open and closed has caused the problems. There's probably frost heave.

So now i have this to worry about. I d on't know how to secure the door. Right now I have Penny closed in this room with me and that should be okay. But tomorrow Ihave to go to outpatient stuff and go to another appointment and basically leave my place open for theft.

I'm in contact about a short term solution but I dont't think it can be fixed tonight.
