[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

In looking around the apartment, trying to see what can be sold, donated, tossed, or packed, my eyes are on my wee demitasse collection. I have done nothing to grow the collection, in fact I've lost pieces in the last couple of moves. I know there are a few folks here who collect and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in rehoming some of these? If so, message me and I'll send you pictures.
After (whitefont for gross) coughing up a whole ton of mucus , I'm breathing a bit better. I still start coughing if I try to take a deep breath or move around too much, but I'm OK if I just sit and rest. Still not sure how I'll be on the planes, but I guess I'll see in a few hours.
Maybe the whitefont stuff means you are on the mend.
I'm back to hating therapy. Mostly because I don't want to do the work and feel the pain and also now they are talking about discharge from here in like 3 weeks. Which doesn't seem long enough. I don't know what to do.
On top of it I came home and found my front door a jar which freaked me out on a ton of levels. Nothing stolen. I found Penny. It's been windy and my storm door won't stay closed (even when latched it pops open).
So I got my keys and locked the front door and went outside and pushed -it popped open. It's been really windy so I'm thinking the wind popped it open. The mobile home needs to be releveled and I'm thinking that in combination with the storm door slamming open and closed has caused the problems. There's probably frost heave.
So now i have this to worry about. I d on't know how to secure the door. Right now I have Penny closed in this room with me and that should be okay. But tomorrow Ihave to go to outpatient stuff and go to another appointment and basically leave my place open for theft.
I'm in contact about a short term solution but I dont't think it can be fixed tonight.
Here are some things you can try [link] For a quick McGuyver for the door opening, could you tie the doorknob to a piece of furniture?
I can see at the top there's a gab at one side and not the other which makes sense because the mobile home isn't level.
My short term solution is - open the storm door and put the trash can in front of it so the weight will keep it open.
But bags and boxes of books I was going to donate to block front door so it won't blow open.
I checked the back door (whcih I technically have) and the handle on the storm door is broken off, but I know it's blown open before so in a minute I'm going see if I can get that open. But I don't know if I have a key that will open that door.
Would this be a legit reason to miss outpatient therapy?
askye, that sucks. I hope you can get it fixed soon.
Hil, feel better, and I hope the flight isn't too terrible.
Door situation is temproarily fixed. I mean it closes but there's a wait and see what happens when the ice melts and the ground thaws and shifts.
I am more tired than I knew was possible, but I can't go to bed yet because I still have to have my evening snack.
Put some bells and bottle flush up against the bottom of the door, too.
