Oh askye, I'm so sorry. That always sucks.
ION shopping for Not-Your-Mother's-Pink onsies might be my new favorite thing.
Debet, feel better soon!

Oh, good. I'm always worried that I'm just annoying people. Two more Mom complaint, and then I'll stop. Mom is in FL going to a lot of Spring Training games. So, I asked her to pick me up a Red Sox onesie, but in the team colors, not pink. So, she sends me pictures of two Red Sox dresses, but at least they were in the team colors. And when she saw the previously mentioned Starfleet Academy onesie and the Justice League block onesie, she said, "So you're having a girl but dressing her like a boy?" I'm suddenly seeing my future and it involves my mother questioning every decision I make for ltc.

Take solace in the fact that you will drive her batty by doing your own thing?

Oof. Good luck. Bright side: you can work on how you'll discipline the kid by testing some of it on mom?
sj, I recommend getting some of those onesies in bigger sizes since the baby *will* grow, although it's hard to predict how fast she'll grow. And not stressing too much about your mom.
So sorry, askye.

Meaning bigger than 6 months? I know that babies grow quickly, I was just thinking that with our weather, we'll need warmer things than onesies in the bigger sizes.
My nephew was an exception but he was so big he couldn't wear newborn clothes, he was in 3 months right off the bat.
My little niece was the opposite she was in newborn clothes for what seemed like forever, and her hands and feet were so tiny you couldn't keep mittens or socks on them. I haven't bought too many newborn things, more 0-3 months. My niece was born in September (nearly 3 years ago) so we're hoping a lot of her hand me downs will match of season and size with ltc.

Layering. Sleeping. Being at home. Throwing up. Poop.
Don't worry; you'll need them.
Buy all the pink/black/skull things! (You can imagine the Hyperbole and a Half drawing that would go with that.) Man, I'm glad I can't have kids anymore, I'd be stone broke.
{{askye}} That's really tough.
