My little niece was the opposite she was in newborn clothes for what seemed like forever, and her hands and feet were so tiny you couldn't keep mittens or socks on them. I haven't bought too many newborn things, more 0-3 months. My niece was born in September (nearly 3 years ago) so we're hoping a lot of her hand me downs will match of season and size with ltc.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I was just thinking that with our weather, we'll need warmer things than onesies in the bigger sizes.
Layering. Sleeping. Being at home. Throwing up. Poop.
Don't worry; you'll need them.
Buy all the pink/black/skull things! (You can imagine the Hyperbole and a Half drawing that would go with that.) Man, I'm glad I can't have kids anymore, I'd be stone broke.
{{askye}} That's really tough.
Non-traditional baby clothes ftw. Grandmother will clue in eventually!
Blew the diet with Too Much Sugar yesterday, only walked a quarter mile, and then slept late today. Woke up feeling like crap, inside and out. Someone posted to the 1000 Miles FB group about the Charity Miles app, where you make money for charity by walking/running. That motivated me enough to get moving. Two miles on the treadmill before breakfast! My Fitbit is very happy with me.
Well, I debated sending one of the Obama "littlest organizer" ones. Maybe that will help her be happy about the Sox ones. Yeah, I know he knows I didn't mean anything, but this poor widower, it had only been like a week, after what sounded like a long struggle...very different from accidentally calling the couple fucking that one time, or when they don't update the list and they're all "He's been dead since 1987."(Seriously, happened once, wtf? Arizona Democratic Party?)
sj, for you to email your mother: [link]
you might also just start repeating to yourself in order to respond next time, they're not boys' clothes, they're just clothes.
Great articles, msbelle. I'm actually not completely anti girly things, I just really don't like pastel pink. I have bought a couple of dresses in lavender, yellow, etc. The first article is right, gender neutral things are so hard to find. Everything is pink or blue. I'm also half tempted to start a tumbler of the very sexist baby clothing out there because some of it is just horrible.
sj, Jilli just felt a quiver of delight run through her, and doesn't know why yet.
Hee! Yes, yes I did.
Also, I feel I should mention the GCS CafePress store does carry onsies: [link]

I was actually waiting for you to show up to ask you where to find that. Are there Gothic Charm School onesies anywhere?
I really hate how pink everything for girls has gotten lately. I just don't really like the color that much. But I've been going through old photos from when my sister and I were kids, and at all of the photos of birthday parties or school picture day or other dress-up times, all the girls are wearing party dresses, but they're all different colors. I've got several pictures of birthday parties where none of the girls are wearing pink. Frilly dresses can be any color! But when I'm in stores now, the girls' clothing section looks like a sea of solid pink.
