Toddson, that sounds so incredibly stressful. So much calm~ma headed your way.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Oh Todd, that's so stressful! Can you give yourself some kind of treat? Pedicure? Massage?

I'm having a weirdly stressful week given how good things are overall. I'm really bummed that I injured my knee in last week's 10K race, and my doc has told me I'm not allowed to run for a couple of weeks. I had to cancel my SD half marathon registration, which I've been training for for months. Very sad. I've already signed up for a late October half marathon, so at least I know I have that to work towards, but it's a big disappointment. I also today learned that Bank of America has well and truly screwed us over for the last time on this loan application (remember the one I initially started back last year in October?), and unless a miracle happens, it's not going to happen. I'm very disappointed and sad about that since it means years more indentured servitude to the credit card companies.

Our wings are not tired.

And my good!boss has left

For good?? Yikes Todd! That is an incredibly awful way to complete a project.

Pix, I'm sorry you're having a difficult week. I hope you heal quickly and can get back to running soon because I know how happy it is making you.

It rained here again tonight. Apparently our town is in a weird little weather area, where it won't rain in the city next door, but it will still rain here. That at least explains why my back is completely freaking out again.

TCG is currently roasting vegetables for me so that I can stick to my diet better, while I just finished editing his cover letter and resume again. He is applying for a job a step up from his current position, which would be considerably closer to home, so any spare job~ma that is lying around would be much appreciated.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Holy Crap, Todd! what would they do if you called in sick...for a week?

but planning this wedding SUCKS BALLS.

This is why I always planned to elope, back in the days of yore when the idea of me getting married seemed like a possibility.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Tep, I validate your stress. Muchly.

Toddson, that is some sheer fuckery right there. I'd have been in the fetal position crying for a few days already, if it were me.

Pix, love, I know it sucks to have that momentum broken, but take it from someone who will pay the rest of her life for playing through pain and not doing rehab - take it easy and don't push it.

Continued ~ma to Maria and askye, and job~ma to TCG as well.

Planning a wedding is totally stressful. It involves people.

HAAAAAA.

I just had dinner and a drink with StW (yeah, you read that right). It was even at the same place as our first date, for a bit of symmetry. Anyway, it was lots of fun to catch up and he's still totes adorbs. It was interesting to compare interacting with him to D. He's moving to Portland this Saturday (Cass and erin, cute doc coming to your town, get sick with something interesting!). I'm not bemoaning that we didn't work out; it actually gave me a bit of hope that maybe I'll find a good match. Or maybe that's the margarita talking, who knows. Whatevs, I'm just glad he got in touch. I thought he'd left already and was a little cranky that he didn't say goodbye as he'd said he would. But he did.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

closure is good, smonster. I'm glad you got to see him before he left.

That's awesome! Go you.

I am finally home, and glad of it--between gone for work, pride, gone for work, gone for vacation, gone for work, I haven't had a chance to relax at home in over two weeks, and I need it! Do things like make sure my bills have been paid. Also do some work I can't easily do on the road. Eesh.

Thrive to spite them

I hate apartment hunting. There were five or six new listings in my price range since I checked last night. Three are scams, one is subtle until you look at one of the other listings that uses the almost the exact same description and the description doesn't match the pictures (newly updated kitchen! And the pictures are of a kitchen from the 80s). One was totally a scam - 1 bed room condo in Burlington for $450. With stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, and amenities including pool and bridges. I'm sure there are little fairies the came out while you are away and clean everything and make your bed.

I would believe this of Vermont out of all the states in the union. IJS.

ION, I don't want to just whine, and I intend to not just whine, but I need whine a little right now. I am fighting a migraine (mostly the vertigo part, which is disconcerting and weird, because I'm used to migraine pain, but not vertigo) and also have IBS horrible badness of the be-near-a-bathroom way.

My body is trying so hard to offload all the stress that it's entered Code Blackwatch Plaid. t /Harvey Birdman reference
