Mine are now irregular, with bonus cramps and an upswing in hormonal crazy. I'd been taking progesterone capsules as per my GYN, and have learned they make the hormonal crazy SO MUCH WORSE.
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Progesterone (a small amount, from my IUD) seems to be making everything better for me. Bodies are weird. Although, it's possible that the PMS headaches are due to that. Who knows. The headaches are weird. They don't really correlate with anything else I can think of, except menopause, and they're still happening even though the periods have stopped. Or mostly stopped.
How long does it have to be since the last period to be officially for-real over menopause and done with it all?
My understanding is one year.

I love you, billytea.
billytea, you're a genius.

Zen, yes, just like that! Two days happy, one hour euphoric, then STAB STAB KILL KILL. Now I'm into the loose joint/muscle pain portion of the non-festivities. Thanks for sharing, everyone. I've wondered recently if I was hitting peri-menopause (though now I can't remember why I thought that).
billytea, still the best.

That sums it up. If you find a way to fix it, please let me know.
