You do well to flee, townspeople! I will pillage your lands and dwellings! I will burn your crops and make merry sport with your more attractive daughters! Ha ha ha! Mark my words! Ooh! Ale! I smell delicious ale!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

There are two things I use on my now finicky chemo cat fancy feast broths and appetizers --they go out randomly as extra food - both my cats decided the old food was not great at t eh same time - which according to the vet was a change in the formula. But my cat on chemo is now picky and needs to not lose weight. These are often tasty enough that he goes back to his real food and eats more food.

any way you might see if treat food reminds him that food is good

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I am going to call the vet today, and that's a good point about checking the food. Fortunately, I have some canned food of a different brand that he likes, and I'll see if that helps.

When he did eat, it was when the kitten was shut in his room AND Finn's food bowl was right outside the door. I did try feeding them side by side, and Finn just sniffed at his food and walked away.

Fortunately, my vet is wonderful, and wants to make sure that Finn is doing okay.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My three cats prefer to eat with a few feet separating them. Unless it's tuna; they'll eat tuna practically out of the same bowl. Priorities, man. They're happiest, it seems, if they feel like no one can see them while they eat. Under the dining room chairs is perfect, according to them.

Trudy, you're NYC based, so call the Doctors Without Borders and see if they could use it or know any org or anyone who could use it.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

They're excellent predators but small, so they do feel safest eating in safety.

So over being sick. Having to oxygenate my blood is tedious. And apparently not as automatic as one would hope.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ugh Cass, that doesn't sound fun

I miss being a highly functional adult. I can't wait to get all my brain back but I'm worried it's just gone.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Yeppers. Right there with you. I have been very much having a week/month of realizing a lot of time is just gone and there is no getting stuff back.

Today's parental failure -- after a morning that felt like it was all win -- was realizing that we sent Frances off to a field trip on a sailing boat without slathering her in sunblock. Argh! She's gonna come back with a sunburn. Even though she has sunblock in her backpack, we assume that she's not going to remember it's there and use it.

Yeah, what was that like? I miss it. I hope Frances somehow remembers her sunblock.

I have been very much having a week/month of realizing a lot of time is just gone and there is no getting stuff back.

Seriously, stuff happens and it feels like it wasn't supposed to happen for months. Except maybe it's been months? Sick twice since NYD doesn't help but sheesh.

I just had to talk myself into making another piece of toast since I ate the first one five hours ago. Toast made with homemade honey wheat bread from my Mom and ripe avocado to smash onto it. I hope by tomorrow food seems more interesting. And breathing. I'll take breathing first actually.
