Uh, are we gonna fight, or is there just gonna be a monster sarcasm rally?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Good luck, askye! Time to banish the cough for good.

Best of luck getting through your full shift tomorrow, askye.

Always Anti-fascist!

I broke a blood vessel in my hand because somebody closed a door on it.

Thrive to spite them

I want to do something for Will for Valentine's day but I probably won't get to see him with his work schedule and me (hopefully) going back to work.

I don't have a card for him and the only thing he said he wanted was a full size Crunch bar.

On the lighter side - someone (here?) pointed me to a site called Frock Flicks - about costuming in movies - the good, the bad, the ugly, the hysterically wrong. One feature is Man Candy Monday; one included a Buffista favorite - John Barrowman. Including a clip of him meeting the ice bucket challenge.

Next time I got out and the entrance ramp to the highway is closed, I'm taking it as a sign to turn around and go home. 20 minute drives should not take an hour and a half.

Thrive to spite them

I went to work. I lasted until 11ish. I started coughing off and on before that and the coughing wasn't that bad, much shorter in duration but still I was coughing so hard I was retching.

My manager said if I needed to go home. I'm not coughing now, but I also haven't said anything in about 1 1/2 hours. So tomorrow I'm going to go back and he's going to try to find something I can do off the sales floor that requires minimal talking.

I did go to the store and get Afrin and I'm back on cough syrup. I have to remember to take the decongestants to work so I can keep up wtih them.

And Will's not feeling well, he said he was going to go home and get some rest and maybe come see me later but I told him to stay home and rest. Plus although the roads don't seem that bad (it's lightly snowing, there's no real ice) there are lots of car accidents.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Askye, I'm sorry that you haven't put this cough 100% behind you. But I am glad that you are starting to get better.

Pix, I'm sorry about the bursitis. Be gentle with yourself and heal well.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

my friend tackles me into the corner of a wall while fight/flirting.

I love that fight/flirting is a thing.

Best bruise I ever got ran the length of the outside of my thigh. I was dancing on top of some tables in a nightclub in Paris and my foot slipped in the space between two tables. I ended up with one foot on the floor, one foot up on the table. But, I did not spill my drink.
