I'm not sure how old he is, but I heard him use the word 'newfangled' one time, so he's gotta be pretty far gone.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Our wings are not tired.

Have you heard anything on the bone marrow test, Ginger? I get being sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Meh, sorry about the anemia, Ginger.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Damned anemia. Leave Ginger alone.

You guys, I got to see Ginger this weekend! And she was awesome and funny and smart and badass and awesome again.

I'm sorry for stupid anemia, though. Oh! Tom put up the print you gave me in the office already! I love it.

I'm pretty sure someone she met at the Renaissance Fair did it. I can find out, though. She'd had it for a while and could never figure out where to wear it. Turns out, fancy-dress party with the theme "Brave New World" was the perfect place!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

The bone marrow test showed nothing except the cancer, which is kind of good news, since some of the possibilities would have involved things like bone marrow transplants.

I may be stuck in a Catch-22. The chemo, which seems to be doing a good job at knocking back the cancer in the bones, also causes anemia in 20% or so of the people taking it. I talked about this with my oncologist last week, and he thinks we need to stay the course with this chemo, even though he recognizes my current situation sucks.

Nora was equally awesome.
