I should take down the feeder Hubby put up last year, clean it out, think about putting it up this summer.

I'm thinking about getting a hummingbird feeder or at the very least getting some hummingbird-friendly plants this summer. I love how fierce they are - they have no idea they aren't the size of pterodactyls.

Ugh. So two weeks ago, when I had that drama with the missing driver license and got to my hotel at 1:30AM and so on? Apparently one of the people at that site was SO upset she called MY BOSS to say she felt I was "unprofessional". Why? Because I was eating. A granola bar. When we had a meeting in their site kitchen for five hours. During which the doctor was eating a salad. Wtf lady??? I wouldn't care if she personally thought it was not cool, but to CALL MY BOSS?!?!? Jesus. You wanna see unprofessional, lady? Fuck.

My MiL is beloved by hummingbirds. They come to her kitchen window when the feeder is low, and when she moves away from the window they fly to meet her at the back door.
She says to make sure to take the feeders down in September when the weather first gets cooler. Hummers migrate, and if there's food, they'll stay too late. She's a font of hummingbird lore. Won't have pets in the house, but the outdoor critters are okay.
