Xander: Am I right, Giles? Giles: I'm almost certain you're not. Though, to be fair, I haven't been listening.

'Sleeper'

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

It took me a number of months with Pilates to see any significant improvement and since I've put a little weight back on (and lapsed on the Pilates) I'm losing a lot of it again. I was doing minimum 5 days a week and it really helped.

I'm really hoping to get my hip and shoulder to stop hurting as much.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Sorry about the don'wannas and the doctors and the ick, JZ and askye and everyone else to whom it applies, which is probably at least half of us to some extent! I had a bad case of don'wanna yesterday, and I'm paying for it today.

I just had my last visit with my therapist. Hopefully last anyway. She was really helpful, and I feel like I'm done dealing with issues, at least for a while. I won't say they're gone, but they're less, and my coping mechanisms are much better.

Today, I feel fantastic, actually. I was nearly running down the narrow stairs from her office, instead of holding on to the banister and stepping carefully down like I usually do. The Fitbit made me conscious of how much (how little) I was moving around and gave me incentive to walk more, and it's paying off. This exercise thing seems to be making me more confident in my body and my movements, which is a huge deal.

Yay, yoga and/or Pilates! It's so good for you, and so hard to get going on. I applaud everyone who's doing it.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

or at least starting to get to a place where what I'm doing can be called yoga.

As my stretch teacher always says, initiating the movement is valid. She also likes to point out that it's better to do the movement correctly, even if it's only a very small movement. Also kudos for starting yoga!

Waking up the muscles and telling them what I want them to do is better than leaving them as useless lumps.

Thrive to spite them

I'm so tired of dealing with health issues. Between the tooth and the IC and now this I feel like I'm a flake at work and unrealiable (even though I'm sure they don't feel like that).

Plus I'm sick of it. And I'm pretty sure I'm not getting enough vitamins so I need to shell out for IC friendly multi vitamin so I don't have to worry about those causing problems.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Heck yeah, Connie. Good on ya.

Feeling better ~ma to everyone who's sick and/or hurting.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'm (probably) on the season premier of The Americans tomorrow at ten on FX. I'm attending a conference in a black dress with small white flowers and some truly fabulous 80's hair.

Oh, I want to see you in that, Trudy.
