It's started snowing here a little bit.
So I did have a cold, now I have a mild ear and sinus infection. So now I have antibiotics. I have tomorrow and Thursday off, the doctor said - drink lots of fluids, rest, take the meds, if I'm not improved by Friday go back.
No wonder you were feeling so whack, askye. Glad the doctor was able to help.
ION, I have achieved bagels, at least. One of our advising groups had a little shindig in the hallway for their students and had leftover bagels.
Yeah the Nurse Practioner was like "well your ears aren't about to burst but they are red and swollen". Which i guess is comforting.
askye, feel better. You really haven't gotten a break lately.

I am also in the don't wanna--I don't have to be where I'm going until 1pm today but I have a bunch I should be doing in my hotel room. So far I do have the computer out...
I'm doing yoga at home--or at least starting to get to a place where what I'm doing can be called yoga. It's depressing to realize that an outside observer would not be able to tell that I'm doing my damnedest to raise my torso up off the floor. But I'm not getting any more limber just lying there and bitching about my lack of strength and flexibility. Gotta get the wheels off the tarmac before I can fly.
Flexibility is really slow thing to increase. It also is something people are born with or not, in order to increase it and keep it, you have to stretch everyday.
I don't have it and it takes daily stretching for weeks to see any improvement.
It took me a number of months with Pilates to see any significant improvement and since I've put a little weight back on (and lapsed on the Pilates) I'm losing a lot of it again. I was doing minimum 5 days a week and it really helped.
I'm really hoping to get my hip and shoulder to stop hurting as much.
