And, movers will have dealt with people who don't even get that they are...whatever...messy/disorganized/hoarding/dirty, etc.
I tried to help an old bf to move but finally had to give up. He asked his friends to move him, by which he meant sort, clean, pack and schlep every bit of his stuff. Somehow, he fantasized that beer and pizza was enough to compensate four people for packing every single box.
I was mortified on his behalf. And, then I left.
Be cheerful, if you can, and your movers will love you.

Glam, try not to stress, let the movers do the work! When they moved me to VA from NJ, I found they'd thrown a bag of trash on the truck and moved it too. I mean, they didn't know... but boy, they were thorough.
