Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I did vacation planning today. Am I the only snarky, snarky bitch who somehow completely drinks the Disney Kool-Aid? Because I was told to "Have a magical day!" on the phone today, and I just said "Thank you!". What is wrong with me? Is this a snark blind spot?

What is even happening?

Well, but Disney World *is* the Magic Kingdom, Lilty. Have faith. A dream is a wish your heart makes.

What is even happening?

Or to answer directly, no.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I feel like I'll hug the first cartoon character I see. I do not understand these emotions.

Compassionately intolerant

My first paid 'job' job was at an amusement part. Marriott's Great America.

We were forced to say, "Have a GREAT MARRiott DAY!!" (inflection intended and vigorously coached) to everyone who paid for a ticket.

I've never been able to hear anyone say something like that without feeling terribly sorry for them.

Thrive to spite them

I have to get my Platic Container for Goodwill back out and start filling it again.

I'm so glad this day is over. It was so slow at work and I ended up cleaning, which is fine but I felt like I was the only one cleaning. There was a bowling party after work and I skipped it. I really wanted to go but I just need to recharge I can't handle being around people right now. (proof I'm a chatty introvert).

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

sj, I swear we are talking about heading your way this year. Promise! Probably close to our birthdays at the end of September.

I've heard this before, but I will allow myself to get my hopes up anyway.

Keep me posted, I'm only about an hour away. NE F2F FTW!

The status is NOT quo.

x-posted in F2F

Drew and I will be in NY and CT mid-June and we really want to see people. NYC folks, we will likely be staying in the city itself but will happily take transit anywhere. I know we’re going to see at least one show while we are there, but we will make time for Buffistas.

I will rent a car so we could come north for a mini-NE-F2F if that would be easiest for NE peeps once we get to CT.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Woo!!
