I put things away and cleaned a litter box and dog throw up. urg, why when I need to really clean do the animals vomit?
I think it's time for wine.
'Shindig'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

DH irons. I don't. He does a fantastic job. When I asked him where he learned, he said he did a search and found a website for trans women that really nailed the process in a way he could totally understand. I wish we still had it bookmarked because the blog was totally charming.
Too cool!
I will note that Emmett had no interest in girls romantically until he hit his growth spurt and his body was flooded with testosterone. So that was about 14-15.
I loath housework of every kind.
Why do you think I want minions? Besides the taking-over-the-world part, it means SOMEONE ELSE would do all the housework.
Go Liese! Go you with laundry!
I need to go pack. I keep staring at my packing list, worried that I've forgotten something.
I would say "They have shops in Denmark", but I fear many of your items would be harder to reasonably substitute.
Owen told me today that he thinks he's asexual. I picked him up from basketball practice and we were talking about the boys on the team. The subject of girlfriends came up and I asked him if he liked a girl. "No," he said. I asked him if he liked a boy. "No. I think I'm asexual."
We, too, shall see what puberty brings, but Lilly's fairly certain she's into girls.
God, I love Copenhagen. It is my very favorite city in the entire world. I wish I could live there!
Ah, Owen. Such a smart boy with such a smart and loving momma. You, too, Plei. It comforts me to know that kids are growing up in such supportive environments.
Add me to the "hates vacuuming" list. The noise! The way it spits stuff back at my feet (all hardwood floors)! Blah. Give me a good podcast and I don't actually mind doing most chores, which doesn't mean they get done in a timely fashion.
I folded and put away clothes from last week's laundry (and purged another pair of socks or two), but did two more loads tonight, so.
You guys! I am so excited! I have been wearing the same pair of increasingly scratched and messed up glasses for about five years, and haven't worn contacts for three because I couldn't afford new glasses or contacts or the exam (I mean, maybe I could have if I were better at budgeting but I'm not). I finally went today (to Costco, of course), and got an exam and bought new glasses and he gave me a bunch of free contacts to try! It felt like ninth grade all over again. I know glasses are a cool thing now but I am thrilled to do exciting things like 1) wear regular sunglasses 2) have eye makeup be visible without setting pigment levels to RuPaul and 3) wear safety glasses instead of those awful chemistry goggle things. And my new glasses are Vera Wang, mostly brown with a gray pattern along the temples, with a subtle cateye shape. Can't wait for them to come in.
Seriously. THRILLED. Also slightly nauseated as my brain adjusts back to contacts and a new prescription, but mostly THRILLED.
Whoot!
Yay, smonster! Post pics!
That's great, smonster! May your style choices never be so hemmed in by monies.
