Thanks. I sound like a selfish bitca in my previous post. I really do feel bad about the friend that died as well and his family. It's just all mixed up in my head right now.
Meditating you say? I have never been successful at it, but it really would be nice if my brain would just be quiet sometimes.
Take care, sj. It's just really hard, no matter what.
What Zen and smonster said, sj. Do take care of yourself, and you have my ~mas. This isn't selfish bitch, this is self preservation in difficult times.
I hope things went well after all, sj.
Say hello to DX, and give him my regards. Tell him we miss him.
Be gentle with yourself, sj. And may your birthday have grace moments that bring unexpected happiness.
I'm having lunch with DX this week! Aren't you all jealous?
Yes I am! I hope that your birthday exceeds expectations, sj.
If anyone is interested in what the sound folks in theatre do, and have some time to burn, here's a link to a talk I was part of on Monday that's a discussion about sound a music for theatre.

Listening to it now, Drew. I have a client who is going to AU's new audio arts program and I think she'd be interested too.
Interestingly, I met Pix's DC doppelganger recently. A woman who looks so much like her, it's eerie.
I guess we all have twins strewn about the universe.
Thanks Drew. Bookmarked for later.
Oh, my job. Trying to kill me on the way out. We have to send the bi-monthly journal to the printer TODAY, and there is an editorial that must appear in it (about the sale). We JUST got the editorial for typesetting 10 minutes ago.
I don't know why I thought the last thing I would do here would be any different from the jackassery of the previous 17 years.
