I don't give a good gorram about relevant, Wash. Or objective. And I ain't so afraid of losing something that I ain't gonna try to have it. You and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Oh, my job. Trying to kill me on the way out. We have to send the bi-monthly journal to the printer TODAY, and there is an editorial that must appear in it (about the sale). We JUST got the editorial for typesetting 10 minutes ago.

I don't know why I thought the last thing I would do here would be any different from the jackassery of the previous 17 years.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Sorry, Steph. Hope is a strong force. And also can be a passive-aggressive bitch sometimes.

However, I went to Alternate!Doctor, and after I listed all of my stressors, she said that she's amazed I was so calm. At which point I burst into tears. So I have an Rx for sweet sweet Ativan.

And also a second drug for my IBS, and a recommendation to add a fiber supplement.

But mostly Ativan, woo.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Teppy, I'm so sorry about all the stress. I'm glad you have a good doctor.

The birthday is going well so far, but next year someone remind me to not take a call from my aunt.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Waitaminute, Shir, I see you being all casual and trying to just sneak in. HIHIHI.

Steph, I'm so glad the doc hooked you up. Hope the new meds help.

~ma to Becca and Matt's aunt, speedy recoveries to them both.

Thrive to spite them

~ma to Becca and Matt's aunt.

Steph so glad you got meds!

I saw my shrink today. So, he thinks that the Risperdal isn't causing the edema because it's rare and he hasn't ever seen it. But I have increased anxiety and blurry vision so we're chucking that. He said it's more common to be seen with lithium but at the start of taking it or increase in dosage, which isn't me. So, no Rispderal, I wait and see what happens to the swelling. I see him on Monday. If the edema is still there, then we'll try going off the Lithium and taking Geodon instead and see what happens.

sj, it's your birthday? Happy happy day!

-ma to Matt's aunt and to Teppy for work stress

I'm still waiting for word from the doctor. She's been in surgery for almost three hours, which was the longest they initially thought it would take. I'm sure it will be okay, but I'm worried.
