I did not break up with my dentist. Instead i met Will for lunch. The original plan was for him to spend the day with me (i had forgotten about the doctors appointment). AFter lunch he asked me if I still wanted him to come over and honestly I had no idea. I told him that and then he asked again and I started crying becasue I'm sleep deprived and it's been a stressful day and I had lost my decision making capacity.
He ended up coming over but we basically just sat on the couch and snuggled some. I did go online and buy a pair of work pants (now up to 2 pairs) and another pair of long underwear (Lands End had them for clearance). I'm down to 1 pair of jeans and 1 pair of gray cords for casual clothes. I'd like to get 1 pair of black cords (which I can't wear to work) and maybe that's it.
The only upside today is that I learned I've lost 6 lbs since Septmeber. I'm chalking that up to all the walking I do at work, I regularly hit the 10000 recommended steps. Plus eating less junk food.
Losing 6 lbs without actively trying to is a nice upside. But I do hope the new meds help and you can get a good night's rest.
To help put the six pounds back on (if you want), here's a recipe for white chocolate and red velvet fudge.
I am not looking at the recipe, Todd. I could gain 6 pounds just looking at the directions.
I put in an order with a company that makes vegan meals and freezes them, and then mails them to you a week at a time, packed in dry ice. I'd heard good things about them, and I won't really have time for cooking this semester, and my kitchen is about 45 degrees so there's no way I'm spending much time in there anyway, and the price for this delivery company was reasonable (a bit more than I'd usually spend on groceries each week, but less than I'd spend on restaurant meals), so I figured this was a good time to give it a try. Then they put out a Living Social coupon for 50% off, and a whole ton of other people decided to give it a try, too, and now they're overwhelmed with orders and I probably won't start getting this food for another few weeks.
OK, I got an email message back from them, and they said that my meals will be delivered next week.
Sounds like a tasty option Hil.

Yeah. I'm getting it for two weeks to start with, with meals for five days a week, and I'll see how that goes. A couple of bloggers tried it, and they all said the food tasted pretty good. I'm just kind of at a point where I have way too much to deal with, and if I can outsource something, I will.
Earwormed with Eben Brooks' "Hey There, Cthulu", woke up this way. Attempting to combat with Jonathan Coulton's "Re: Your Brains". Even the cats are steering clear. Have lost pronouns. Mercifully, still have punctuation.
Great news, everyone! I successfully earwormed myself with "Re: Your Brains" and regained my pronouns. I may have to combat this earworm with "Escape".
