As nice as a day off is, we are super busy at work and I want to be there selling things and cementing my position as a top seller.
You are amazing, askye. You have so much determination. I can't help solving your problem at all, but if you'd like any validation of your awesomeness, I've got a ton of it for you.
I have a crazy, stab in the dark request.
At year end, I strive to eliminate as many 'tolerations' as I can. Finding remedies for those things that just bug you or have been issues for a long time.
The truth is, I really have all I need...but there are two things I'd like to replace. Only one of which anyone else can help me with.
I am committed, for now, to staying away from cellphone connectivity but I do so love my G3 iphone for audiobooks and photos. I've been using this one since late 2008 when a dog park friend gave it to me out of his surplus.
The only problem is that the battery is no longer holding a charge. (sad face)
I don't need anything fancy, no 'apps' and such, just audio and camera. If video was possible, I'd post Cagney hijinx, of course.
Anyway. If you have upgraded your tech and are looking for a new home for a working itouch-like jobbie, I would be happy to make a deal! Profile addy is good.
The other thing I need is a new pair of walking shoes since I'm all about the steps these days. Georgetown Running will be seeing me next week for one of their amazing gait analyses.
Other than that, my life is mighty fine.
Thanks Zen. It actually really helps me that I have hard data to look at that shows I'm doing well. And much better than I imagined I'd be doing on the sales floor.
I called out, I talked to the operations manager who's reaction was "this is not good." Dude, I know it's not good, which is why I went into work yesterday adn then left after 3 hours because I couldn't take it. I didn't say that, I said, that I understood but this is the situation that had me going home early and if I went in I'd probably only last 2 hours.
I also should have called sooner but I blanked on the manager's extension and that was a mistake (I need to fix my phone with that in there).
The antibiotics also make me really tired and I ended up tain a nap yesterday. I also cleaned off the kitchen table - first time in months! And have all the Christmas boxes ready to put out for recycling Tuesday night.
If I can't be productive at work I'm at least inching my way to contorlling the chaos in my house.
I know it is silly to still mark stuff like this now that we're married, but it has been 10 years since TCG and I went on our first date!
Wow! Happy decadeaversary! Not silly to celebrate the good stuff.
It's not silly without the first date there wouldn't have been a marriage! It's important!!!
But--you only met TCG one, two years ago, didn't you?
But--you only met TCG one, two years ago, didn't you?
You would think so, but we've been married for 4 years, so something is wonky with the math.
Wow, I'd love to meet someone I'm that eager to remember.
I do have a date like that, here or there, but I don't dwell on them, because I'm not with that person.(I mean, it's hard to avoid one of them, because it was New Year's Eve...the only really cinematic one I ever had, to date, at least.)
So when's the teacupiversary?
