Buffy: A Guide, but no water or food. So it leads me to the sacred place and then a week later it leads you to my bleached bones? Giles: Buffy, really. It takes more than a week to bleach bones.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Somebody 'splain the book in the freezer thing to me? I must have missed that ep.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

In an episode of Friends, Joey explains that when he gets scared of a book, he puts it in the freezer. This is the episode where he and Rachel swap reading favorite books, so Rachel reads The Shining and Joey reads Little Women. And when Beth gets sick, Joey has to put the book in the freezer.

Ohhh. That's...kind of sweet. Okay, thanks!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I totally thought this was about Hil's students who don't like their grades for a moment. And I think any teacher would say, IF ONLY.

That would be nice.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Maria, I was, at my heaviest, 215. I lost all that weight a couple of years ago, and 2013 sucked and I gained back 30lbs.

My adult weight depends on how well I'm dealing with anxiety, stress, and depression. It's a journey; you said that yourself.

BUT, having gained and lost, and gained, and am losing again...I.FEEL.YOU.

Ugh. Went on a date tonight. A third date. She seems cool, but I guess maybe the chemistry is just not there? I dunno--end of the date I offered her a ride home and she said she wanted to walk, we hugged and I left. Sigh. Why is dating so freaking hard??

Grades submitted. Three emails so far: one "Can I please have a C?" email from someone who had checked his exam score but not his semester grade, and didn't realize that I had already rounded his grade up by the one point needed to get the C; one "Are you sure my grade is correct?" email that I didn't quite understand; and one email from someone's mother, which was easy to answer, because I'm not allowed to tell parents anything.

Four emails! I think my record is 9.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I just checked in on CJ's grades. Today he had two finals, but grades are already posted for 4 of his 5 classes - 2 A's and 2 C's with the final class an assumed C. Which means he doesn't have to worry about academic probation from ARP for another half semester.

I keep reminding him that next year, I won't have access nor do I wish to have access if it were available (I am so rediculously happy it isn't). The only reason I check no is to make sure academic probation isn't an issue. In college, he is on his own.

Must admit, I still boggle at how low my standards for grades are for him. If this were K-Bug, totally different story.
