And don't you ever stand for that sort of thing. Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back! ... You got the right same as anyone to live and try to kill people.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And that's good advice, WS. I might take it for our cat as she's otherwise healthy but definitely moving slower these days, and having trouble jumping up onto Franny's bed.

Pet Naturals Hip + Joint is really good stuff. Once when the pet supply store I usually buy them at was out (I had recommended them to one too many other guardians of elderly cats) I bought a similar supplement from ... Zuke's, I think. After a few days, Harvey started to slow down again. But he got back up to speed in short order once I got more of the good stuff for him.

Thrive to spite them

I have survived Thanksgiving shoppers. WE had one really pissed off guy because there was a doorbuster and we had 25 of them and we ran out of tickets before we got to him.

Someone else was mad becuase the same thing was gone when they got to the store, but they didn't show up until after we opened.

Computers didn't fare well there were a lot of people doing their initial research and also someone put a bunch of computers in the back and then didn't properly inform everyone so we were telling people we'd run out. Whatever. I finished a project for tomorrow, I'm home. I'm eating and then going to bed.

I also think I have a UTI so I'm dealing with that. I need to take some alieve.

I hope everyone else had a restful or at least as stressfree as possible day.

I totally forgot how draining it is to be in the store with that many people and that much noise and that much stuff going on. My head is still rattling with all the noise.

Dinner was delightful! Excellent conversation and good food...in moderation.

The non-sugar/wheat-free pecan pie was actually pretty good. The coconut biscuits were very popular and the cranberry relish was so good, I'm thrilled to have leftovers.

So glad I accepted the invitation, but even the date sugar seems to have charged me up.

I might need to take a Tylenol PM (without the Tylenol) just to get some sleep.

I hope everyone had a yummy day!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I thought their metal cover of West End Girls was quite good!

BTW, the massive bewbs are part of the costume, not, um, hers. They spew fake blood over the audience. I plan to stand far in the back. Preferably on a balcony.

Our wings are not tired.

That is great, Zen. I hope she has a blast.

Ooof. askye. It is going to be a long month. I guess you know what to expect now. Maybe a nice bonus at the end?

Sounds like a yummy and fun T'day, Bonny!

I hope that there were fun days all round. We had great fun, family, and food. Transport is now an issue though. The truck may have thrown a rod. Just paid $3400 for 8 new injectors now who know what. Over 100 miles from home of course. Had to get 2 family members to fetch us because 4 of us, food, and dog would not fit with another driver. So AAA this morning to get towed cross state and my brother will cart the rest of us home. Bother.

Rest well, askye. Hope the uti clears up quickly.

Oof, Laura. I'm glad you weren't beyond the reach of family.

Zenkitty, GWAR certainly made West End Girls their own. I liked that performance - it had a logic and charm I didn't expect. I suspect that if I liked Metal, I would effing ADORE them.

GWAR! How cool, Zen.

Oderus’ boat went up in flames,
Now all of Vallhalla chants his name!
Oderus, I miss you more than all the others.
I salute you my brother!

Have we ever discussed mouse traps?

I can't even speak how much I hate having to do this. My landlord is useless and living in an 1860 building means prevention isn't really an option.

This morning, the cutest little grey mouse eluded me all over my kitchen counter. I can't bear the idea of killing it, but I just can't live peacefully with them.

I am not proficient with typical Victor traps but haven't found a better option.

Any ideas?

I really, truly am frustrated.

Zen, how exciting for your niece! The folks in GWAR are really sweet people.
