Oh, such good news.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yay for safe kitty!
For those of you waiting with bated breath for news of my cable (what? that was just me?) - my DVR is sadly deceased. And it's Time Warner's fault. They apparently sent out an update of some kind very early Wednesday morning, but my DVR was just old enough that it broke its brain. New DVR Saturday morning, then spent the whole weekend combing On Demand and online to find the stuff I lost (still a few to go, but got a lot). When the forced commercials were annoying me, I had both going at once, and when one went to commercials I switched to the other. I should be more ticked off, but I thankfully didn't have much going on this weekend and was glad of the excuse to spend a weekend in front of the TV without feeling guilty about it. It's so weird to pull up my recorded shows and only have like 2 things listed. Well, I go back to school in January - it'll start getting real full real fast again then.
Annoying for sure, but good to hear you have a new unit in place now.
Yes, after breaking them in for a bit, my diamond shoes are not so tight. ;)
Went out again with OK Cupid guy. It's going well, I think. Got vague plans to get together again later this week. (We saw Dr. Strangelove this week. This classic Hollywood marathon at the local theater is neat. I think that next week is Chinatown.)
Nice, Hil! Yay, safe kitty! (Boo, holey wall)
So, my father woke me up at stupid o'clock, saying, "you have to see this." A dog we have never seen before had come into the bathroom to greet him and was now sitting at the top of the stairs.
So, I'm going to be going on an "Is this your dog?" walk.
Too funny. I came back from a walk the other day and surprised a probably feral cat hanging out in the screen porch. Not quite the same.
That once happened to me with a cat. He was very indignant that I was startled.
So Veteran's Day turned out to be a trigger. I'm OK now, but the radio guy was having people call in with stories of veterans they love, and Hubby was a vet. He'd just gotten the official designation on his driver's license, and he was looking forward to hitting up all the deals for vets. I did marry my father, Daddy was anticipating all the senior citizens deals he'd get when he hit 65. Which he didn't get to.
I'm so sorry, Connie. Sending love and support. Be gentle with yourself today.
