Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Went out again with OK Cupid guy. It's going well, I think. Got vague plans to get together again later this week. (We saw Dr. Strangelove this week. This classic Hollywood marathon at the local theater is neat. I think that next week is Chinatown.)

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Nice, Hil! Yay, safe kitty! (Boo, holey wall)

So, my father woke me up at stupid o'clock, saying, "you have to see this." A dog we have never seen before had come into the bathroom to greet him and was now sitting at the top of the stairs.

So, I'm going to be going on an "Is this your dog?" walk.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Too funny. I came back from a walk the other day and surprised a probably feral cat hanging out in the screen porch. Not quite the same.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

That once happened to me with a cat. He was very indignant that I was startled.

brillig

So Veteran's Day turned out to be a trigger. I'm OK now, but the radio guy was having people call in with stories of veterans they love, and Hubby was a vet. He'd just gotten the official designation on his driver's license, and he was looking forward to hitting up all the deals for vets. I did marry my father, Daddy was anticipating all the senior citizens deals he'd get when he hit 65. Which he didn't get to.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm so sorry, Connie. Sending love and support. Be gentle with yourself today.

Always Anti-fascist!

Yeah--it's kind of rotten how it's the little things. ION, you know you are far away from the Sex if you read an article called "How Dan Savage Lost It" and you are expecting to read how he went off on someone, rather than about virginity. sigh.

Thrive to spite them

I spent most of my day off at work. I took my couter in finally over the Internet issue and they discovered the motherboard has an issue. So it's off to the manufacturer for repair. Then I did Verizon's installment billing plan and bumped up to a Note 4.

And I was a few minutes late to therapy and I waited but the therapist never came out. I went to her door but I heard voices so I think I got the time wrong. I called and left her message.

Tomorrow Will is coming over and we are going to try a new restaurant that claims to make a Cuban. I'm prepared for disappointment.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The new chestnut praline latte at Starbucks is yummy!
