Stop that right now! I can hear the smacking!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

You know, it often seems that, no matter how low you set the bar, someone will find a way to get under it. Kind of a moral limbo.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Not a tag line but should be, Toddson.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

sj, much -ma headed your way.

bonny, I would be at once shocked, not shocked and pissed. It was a phone call, not a F2F, right, because I'm sure your face was just like "AGOG!!"

People can be so shitty. Always trying to get something for nothing.

Compassionately intolerant

Totally NATLBSB! Moral low bar...like lower than the coffee room worms in MIB, low.

And THEN, to add to the stress, my on/off again nemesis at the pet care company quit...ish. He will see us through the holidays.

Instead of falling apart, I actually came up with some really good suggestions for the owner...some of which could include helping the fellow not actually quit.

FINALLY, I have the opportunity to do a full organizational assessment and to guide the company into the future it's been struggling with for some time.

I'm super appreciative that the owner did not flail, and she DID take responsibility for a HUGE mistake she made that helped create this outcome.

It's like a fever breaking.

Which is good because Cagney is limping and I could use less stress in order to deal with that.

not F2F

Definitely on the phone. Had it not been, I don't think I'd have handled it as well.

Though I might have twigged to the deceit sooner if I could have seen his face.

Oh, in very deed! And with total justification!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My uncle passed away this afternoon. Thank you, everyone for the ~ma yesterday. I was going to go visit him today, but I am coughing and sneezing and I didn't want to get everyone sick, so I stayed home. I thought he had a few more days, and I'm feeling kind of guilty about that decision now.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry, sj. While it's a good call to avoid bringing new germs to the already ill, I'm also sorry you didn't get to say goodbye face to face.
