You know what the chain of command is? It's the chain I go get and beat you with until you understand who's in ruttin' command here.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

What do you mean known too soon?

I am really sorry this turns into askye vents about her work frustrations.

nothing to apologize for, sweetie! This is one of the greatest things about being a Buffista -- we're here for each other and we ALWAYS care (even if you're worried that we've heard it before ;)

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

You sound frazzled, askye. Know that, no matter how the new position goes, I am proud of you.

Art Crawl!!!

Connie and others: is D&D something people could play via skype?

That way there could be a buffista game, no?

You're supposed to wait and announce stuff after all other applicants have been told their status. In store applicants anyway. The other guy up for the position was going to move to another department and I thought it had been made clear to him he was getting the position he applied for. But then hee said he hadn't been assured. But they reopened the position internally so he could apply for it. So I assume he's got it

Well, I hope it works out for the best, askye. As for my meeting, once we got to it, it went as well as can be expected, but noting like a little reduction in my citizenship to start my weekend off right. And next month, we've gotta put the dots in. The Commander loves the dots. Sigh.

What does "reduction in citizenship" mean?

Well, not literally, and it's not quite so awful that I'm second-class, you know, no organs are ripped out and I'm not eating from a bowl outside or anything, but I do feel less-than-equal getting inspected all the time.

Short answer "Got to let me play. This America, man." I've had it-- they're sloppy, flaky, and rude, and at least 8 out of ten times have Issues as big as mine, except different. And they'd love to find some sort of fraud so they can pay much less for my attendant hours, and now they're younger than me. It's like a cross between an audit and bad speed dating.(Which, admittedly, is not Malala-level shit, but doesn't exactly fill me with great personal pride, either.)
