[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Glad I went to Urgent Care -- apparently I have an ear infection in just the right ear. That's weird. The doctor said the pain from the ear could have triggered the migraine, which I suppose is possible, except I don't remember the pain from the ear preceding the migraine. (And I normally have ear pain with migraines, on the same side as the elephant-kicking-my-face pain.) Anyway, I got a shot of Toradol in my bottom for the migraine and antibiotic/steroid ear drops for the ear. Woo.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Teppy, I have a drug question for you: is it possible that Cipro side effects (dizziness, headache) might first show up when I'm four days into the meds? Or is this likely a new problem that I'm dealing with?

It's possible -- it may have taken that long for the drug to reach a certain level in your system. I had joint pain with Cipro, and it didn't show up for about 3 days.

OTOH, I think my trip to Urgent Care today proved that correlation isn't always causation -- I assumed my ear pain was totally migraine-related, because I always have ear pain with my migraines...and then it wasn't.

Bodies, man. So crazy.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Now that I've been able to switch back to Lyrica from Gabapentin - I'm hoping the dizziness will go away quickly.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

That is adorable, DCJ.

Kudos, omnis, on doing your civic duty! I've never been on a jury.

Thrive to spite them

THat's awesome DCJ.

Hope jury duty goes well.

Steph hope you feel better.

This week at work has been like every stereotype and superstition of Friday the 13th and Full Moons plus Black Friday rolled into one. EVERY SINGLE DAY. I can't even. The work computer I use isn't broken, it needs a new monitor, I have a spare one. There was a massive system update to the back end stuff that had almost all of our inventory systems out until 11:30 am or so on Monday and since then the program I use to process orders over the phone doesn't work. They are working on it. There's another issue that's going on (I think from the update) that is causing problems. When you call the help desk there's at least a message for that one going "we know! we know! if you're calling about it hang up!"

So I can't earn money for my dept becuase I can't sell things. Plus I've got customers with special issues. Plus I feel very very rage rage rage agressive, unsympatheic which is NOT what I need. I really need to see Guardians of the Galaxy this weekend. And maybe read a lot of fluffy Due South Fic.
