All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Forget the 'shoulds' sj, grief takes its own course. I'm sorry.

Compassionately intolerant

Good on ya, Zen. On both of you, really.

I wish I could get to that place!

Our wings are not tired.

With the house being for sale I have had to maintain a certain level of perfection because in theory someone could want to see it any time. I wish. This was impossible with the dog and Bobby here, but has been pretty easy with just the two of us. Here's hoping rude people don't go into cabinets too much. God do I dread the first open house today.

Seriously proud of myself though. Every single morning the bed gets made. All dishes get rinsed and put in the dishwasher and a survey of the floors with little broom takes place. I got it down to about 15 minutes.

Decades ago I was miss neat nick, but that went away long ago. Now my office and desk, hahahahahahaha. Disaster area.

I have no idea if any of the neat behavior will stick when the house sells. Both my sisters and my mom have hoarding issues, and delightful accumulations of books, magazines, newspapers. It is pretty normal and comfy for me, But at the moment the stark thing is pretty nice.

It was rambling enough in one post. Two is way too much.

There's a woman on Ravelry whose wife is going through bone marrow transplant for cancer, and she's terribly afraid. She's been getting calls to come into the hospital on short notice. I've been giving comfort on the process while not mentioning how it ended for me. What unexpected depths to a board about things to do with yarn.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yarn... cult tv shows...

Also your compassion is a lovesome thing.

I have been very fortunate in the Internet places I've discovered.

I hope that giving her comfort affords you some too, Connie.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Can anyone answer a scary health question real quick? I've suddenly developed a sort of silver slash across my vision, almost directly in front of my visual field. I'm having trouble reading and typing because I can't see the letters I'm looking at. this just started about ten minutes ago and is getting worse. It's exaxtly the same in both eyes so I don't think the problem is my eyes. Is this another ocular migraine? The blank silver spot is getting bigger and it's scaring me. I haven't eaten in about 17 hours so I'm getting food now in case that's the problem.
