Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Can anyone answer a scary health question real quick? I've suddenly developed a sort of silver slash across my vision, almost directly in front of my visual field. I'm having trouble reading and typing because I can't see the letters I'm looking at. this just started about ten minutes ago and is getting worse. It's exaxtly the same in both eyes so I don't think the problem is my eyes. Is this another ocular migraine? The blank silver spot is getting bigger and it's scaring me. I haven't eaten in about 17 hours so I'm getting food now in case that's the problem.

It's getting bigger. Started out as a spot, then a line, now it's half a circle. I'm freaking out.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Zen, I have no advice as to what it might be, but if it's scaring you, I'd get someone to look at it. I know that's harder on a Saturday. Maybe there's a clinic nearby?

Well, I can't drive with a third of my vision occluded by a visual field disturbance. If it doesn't get better soon, I'll call my sister, luckily she's in town.

Lots of causes of eye floaters, mostly benign but they do advise having someone look at it if the onset is sudden.

It might be reassuring just to know she's there for you, Zen.

Thisnis not floaters, I have those a lot. This is a migraine aura, I think. that's what my sister just said. Apparently she and my niece get them a lot. So, probably not a brain tumor. I'm lying down now. Fuck, this is scary.

Ugh, Zen, but I'm glad you figured out what it is. Wish that didn't mean migraine. Rest up, take care of yourself.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Zen, I get those all the time. They are scary, but haven't killed me yet. I find hydrating helps.

Our wings are not tired.

Exactly the type of migraine I get. Beats pain, but shuts me down because reading or driving or anything is right out. All I can do is wait it out.
