the cops said that they couldn't change the kids in public, because there might be pedophiles.
Honestly, that makes sense to me. But I still think it's quite an over-reaction that the counselor called the police.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It doesn't to me. This pedophile lurking behind every bush mentality I think is incredibly damaging.
Aunt J is rallying. She's awake and talking. Every time we count her out, she surprises us. Of course, she's still very ill.
Oh good, I'm not the only one. I swear, I must be part dog, as my body feels like it's aging faster than most humans.
I'm sorry that you deal with the same thing, but it is nice to know I'm not alone.
I didn't manage to get to the library bookstore in time, but I did make it to the deli and the farmer's market. Good news is my local deli is carrying organic chicken now. I like it when my little town gives me more reasons to not have to leave it to do errands.

I tend to agree with this. Two year olds being changed in public seems like a pretty common thing to me, pretty much any child still in a diaper shouldn't be a big deal, imo, and calling the cops is more than a bit ridiculous.
Know what you mean about the rebellious bod, but detente has been reached for the moment.

I get this, too.
Just talked to my dad again. He says my mom is doing fine, and they're keeping her overnight at the hospital tonight. He said she was falling asleep, though, so I can't talk to her until tomorrow.
Sleep is probably good. Glad she's recovering well.
Glad she's doing all right, Hil.
Quick recovery~ma for your mom, Hil.
Thanks. If all goes according to plan, she'll be released from the hospital tomorrow around noon.
