I gave her everything... jewels, beautiful dresses -- with beautiful girls in them.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Always Anti-fascist!

Dearest Auntie Fucknut, Man, I'm so glad Facebook "brought us together" after fifteenyears or whatever. And I'm happy, for your sake, that you really do have, you know, A Big Strong Man(TM) who has killed shit for a living, and you've got kids, and grandkids and a huge house. Yay, you. You are probably the last woman in the world to go from your father's house to your husband's house without being scarred when the dream failed to come true.(well, okay, you married a Mormon guy as a teen and sewed yourself some truly unfortunate sundresses.) But I'm thirty-nine...the prince is probably not coming(And maybe I want a princess more?) But what would you have me do...since I can't go back to being the loveable 10yo in the shit-brown wheelchair?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh fuck that shit, erikaj. She's giving you a lecture on how happy you'd be if you were her? No on.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Oh, erika, ick.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Oh, erika, that makes me rageful on your behalf. She's probably not nearly as happy as she pretends to be.

We're back from our Much Ado daytrip. We ended up having to take a detour on a very scary, dark road, but other than that it was a nice day.

Always Anti-fascist!

Not really that, but I know she doesn't get my feminist posts. Not to sound like I'm validating Rush's thing about being ugly and needing feminism, but I couldn't follow the path that she and her daughters are on, even if I wanted to. To be honest, my fertility would have probably always been a chancy thing...I don't come from a long line of women squeezing them out, no problem, or maybe my whole life would have been different...the kind of guys that want to handle everything run from me like my breath stinks(probably a wise survival instinct on their parts) and I'm sure she does not get the extent to which my father has lost interest in heading up my family, or whatever patriarchs do. Of course, we aren't going to have the same politics/feelings on abortion, etc.(Of course, I can't say anything about the little gift her loving husband brought her from Desert Storm...only that antibiotics eventually took care of it.) I don't even know how you do that in Muslim country, but she'd be upset my mother told me.

Always Anti-fascist!

And, sj, probably not.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

You really are a good friend, Erin.

erika, FFS, that is several entries on the list of Shit You Do Not Need, Ever.

Vodka, splash of grenadine, peach juice, cream, Sierra Mist = an excellent beverage.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

erin, that is awful. If you want to tell or email what part of Arkansas it is, I may have friends who can give you some 1st person info.

erika, I am so sorry you have to deal with that bullshit. On all kinds of levels. People just...astound me.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Hot Springs? They're are Mercy Hospital Hot Springs and do have plenty of folks w/ wheels around so they aren't confined to what is within walking distance. And apparently tho his shoulder replacement surgery went really well now there's something happening with his hip and they might be there even longer :( Any rec's from localistas would be super welcome. At least there's a subway nearby and apparently he actually likes Chilis so that's a teeny bonus.

Thrive to spite them

So I could use some no Cancer~ma for my dad.

He keeps getting pre cancerous spots frozen off his face and ear, but the place on his ear has come back several times and finally came back weird enough to warrant a biopsy. The actual biopsy was last week, he just never told me about it. Otherwise I'd be asking sooner.
