Went to the beach, went swimming, enjoyed the supermoon. Feeling refreshed. SIL is visiting from NY for MIL 70th b'day surprise dealio. About to go visit with her. Big dinner is tomorrow and I figure I won't get a lot of one on one time with her then.

No response. Glad I did t wait for one instead of food shopping. Not sure if the app has a text ability, I use it on the iPad. Don't see one, but that might be because this isn't a phone. And yes, I think this fish needs to be tossed back in (not that I exactly reeled her in).

My faux-son asked for some pictures of Hubby in armor to scan. I tracked some down. So young and strong.

It's a hard night. Not the first, won't be the last. The only way out is through.

I'm going to pick the hivemind's brain for a friend - does anyone know of a good (and preferably affordable) legal resource/lawyer for a landlord having tenant problems? I don't know much of the details but the friend lives in a house with housemates and 1 is doing destructive things that could make the house uninhabitale. I don't think there's violence so much as sabatoge.

I don't have all the details but the friend is looking for help for her landlord.

Kara (friend to Nora and me, cousin to Daisy Jane, all around badass) is in hospice now, for those not on fb. DJ is coming in tomorrow. Kara's 41st b-day is this week. This sucks so hardcore. I went to see her earlier this week; brought her tabouleh and scratched her back. It was nice to be able to do something actually helpful, if only briefly. I'm going back out there tomorrow.

If only laying on the ground kicking and screaming were as comforting to a grown up as it is to a two-year-old.

Omnis, I tried plenty of fish recently. First guy I met seemed decent if young. He asked me for a picture so I sent one. I got back a picture of his penis. He said my sweaty gym picture turned him on. Obviously I blocked him and obviously that's not you; I just had to share my annoying story. (Seriously nothing in my conversation with that guy invited a penis pic. Nothing) a friend of mine she married a guy she met there so there is that.
