Maybe look at what the class requirements are for different majors? That's how I landed on the major I eventually graduated under - which classes sounded most interesting.

New back problems kept my internet time to a minimum. Extreme pain triggered by lying down or sitting with back supported. Started Friday night. Got one to two hours sleep a night From Friday night to Monday night. Urgent care prescribed high dose ibuprofin, which was useless.

My primary care finally had opening Tue. The doctor with an opening prescribed muscle relaxant and some sort of non-nsaid anti-inflammatory. Was finally able to get to sleep in a chair, as long as I used cushion to make sure only my lower back was supported and nothing touched upper back or neck or head. Good thing: that long with that little sleep was sending my blood sugar up. My doctor commented "your blood pressure is way up an your heart is racing. You are in pain, man." My response is "I thought my describing my pain level as 9.5 conveyed that."

Sorry you're going through this, Typo. And sorry that the medical establishment isn't a little better at responding to 9.5 (Seriously? IBU? For 9.5? Seriously?) Really hope things are moving in a positive direction from here.

This is a really good idea. (I really have no good suggestions about majors. Maybe think about engineering? There's creativity and design and problem-solving in that, and good money once you graduate.)

Not flying through ORD -- does not compute. I thought it was a law that every flight has to go through Chicago O'Hare, Atlanta, Dallas, or Denver.

For me, every flight goes through Philadelphia, Detroit, or Washington National, because those are the only three places that flights from my tiny local airport go.

One of my friends was a double major business/theater. It combine what he loved, with a practical piece - that was needed in his creative field. Engineering fields that already combine stuff you know ( building /electrical) is another thing to think about. And then there is the advice of my father. He said he would always higher a liberal arts major over a business major because LA majors had t learn to think

There may even be people you can talk to at those colleges about what they'll actually take as transfers. Not all colleges will take all classes as transfer credit, ime.

Sean, I'd definitely look into a career counselor. And I've heard of (made took?) that test. Figuring out what you want to do is hard but necessary.
