Congrats on the interview, Sean!
And smonster, sorry to hear you are having such a hard day.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Congrats on the interview, Sean!

Epic made me snort. Twice.
WIN!! (What? It's been a rough week. I'll take it).
But I did get to hang with you in all your sequined unicorn glory
I am SO VERY INTRIGUED by this statement.
VERY cool print.
smonster, ~ma for getting to the weekend (Look! You can see it from here! Nearly there!), and for said weekend to be full of good rejuvenation. (I'm going to assume that co-workers misinterpreted your "sad little tuna sandwich" to mean, "I brought my lunch, so won't be going out to eat," rather than as a snubbing). Hope your brain takes it easy on you. I think you're pretty awesome, if that helps at all.
W00t, Sean! You'll knock his socks off!
eta: oops, forgot our furry friends. So much kitty~ma, Fred & Zen.
I went to a new class yesterday--pilates jump board. It's a way to have cardio added to Pilates and it was very cool and fun. Sadly, I'm in such bad shape that I apparently broke myself and my legs are KILLING me. I just had to walk down one flight of stairs to the lobby and I was hobbling like an wizened crone.
Kitty~ma for Fred and Zen's kitties. And their humans.

I always find down harder on me (esp knees - I'm only going to be 42 [TOMORROW], but they must have given me refurbished knees, 'cuz they feel 80 going down stairs some days). But yay for fun new cardio - next time you'll hurt less - thus more funner!
I went to Zumba at a new place (local public library!) on Saturday. Since I had never had this instructor before, I was a little slow to pick up changes, and one of the little older ladies encouraged me like she thought I'd never done it before. I thought it was adorable, because she was really uncoordinated (but determined and enjoying herself!) in her own Zumba-ing, but she worried about me! By the end of the hour a couple of the other ladies were coming up to me going, "You've done this before, haven't you? I can tell." I smiled politely and said thanks, but in my head I'm all, "That's right, beeyotches! Fat Girl can dance!" Of course, my first Zumba in a couple months, so Fat Girl can also limp a little by the end of the day!
Also, Princess Birthday Attention-Ho takes this opportunity to remind you that her Bday is tomorrow! Yay! (Y'know, in case the thing above was too subtle :).)
I wanna go out to lunch with smonster!
Prepping job interview-ma for Sean
Just found this article (Headline: Study: Sunscreen Keeps Wrinkles Away):
Isn't this kind of old news? I don't feel like a scientific pioneer.
Epic, you are not giving yourself enough credit.
Cool. From now on, if anyone asks why I look young for my age, I'll say, "Sunscreen. My idea. You're welcome."
Gotta chime in with my current (and I dearly hope soon to be replaced) geeky fave--Goodrich v Mass Public Health--the gay marriage case in Massachusetts.
Thanks, meara. Totally looking that up.
My couple has not responded to the myriad suggestions I sent. The ceremony is Tuesday morning, but I am not sweating it. Whatever they decide on, as long as it is written out in a way I can read, I'm okay.
Just call me "GoWithTheFlOfficiant."
