And the little confrontation went beautifully - not accusatory so it did not make me look nasty, yet there did seem to be at least mild chagrin on the part of bosslady. I want her to know she can't pull crap on me and have it not come back in some way, yet I don't want our working relationship to become adversarial.
I feel like I am constantly trying to achieve this. I constantly am looking for how to rephrase, "Just start doing your damn job, take responsibility and be polite. We can ignore your terrible history and just go from here. But only if you actually start doing your damn job." And, to be honest, I've probably been that problem too. But there was less if the keeping those jobs.

I don't know whether to be insulted as a fairly honest daughter or the worst crime writer ever that my father wouldn't just give me a number to enter in to pay for my netflix. Dude, not greedy(and mom isn't either, since you didn't buy her a single present in fourteen years.) And if I were to stop being such a citizen, it would be *incredibly* stupid to do it just after I sent you a mail with words like "credit card" in it. I'm just not sure which "What kind of person do you think I am?" to feel the most right now. Happy Father's Day. (although I have given him passwords and changed them right afterward,so the mistrust is not completely one-sided, I suppose.)
