'Out Of Gas'

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Punishingly Intricate

We had the Goodrich v Mass Public Health printed on our wedding programs. We didn't have any readings, per se, but our ukulele playing friend did the Replacements "I Will Dare" during the service.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Look at the print on the skirt of this dress: [link] I kind of want it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We didn't have any readings, per se, but our ukulele playing friend did the Replacements "I Will Dare" during the service.

Nice!

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Gotta chime in with my current (and I dearly hope soon to be replaced) geeky fave--Goodrich v Mass Public Health--the gay marriage case in Massachusetts. It's awesome.

We used that one! Not as a reading, but as part of the opening comments. It was as close as our officiant came to preaching.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Steph - that print is fantastic.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Ooh! I have several yards of that print at home right now, waiting for enough time and energy for skirt-making. If anyone wants a few yards, there's at least a full bolt of it at our neighborhood fabric and crafts store.

eta: Seriously, let me know. I think they've got it in black, gray, green and red toile, and IIRC it's ~$10-13/yard. I can check tonight after work if anyone's interested and report back.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh, that's lovely. Want!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

::sigh:: I have a bad headache and a case of the stupids thanks to ramping back up on my ADs, and I just want to go home. Plus my coworkers went to lunch without asking if I wanted to go (I had mentioned my sad little tuna sandwich) and now I feel like the unpopular girl who nobody wants to sit with at lunch.

Today is my Friday (more or less) so I just have to make it five more hours. It is going to be tough. I am not my thoughts, I am not my thoughts, I am not my headache, I am not my aphasia, I am not my total lack of work ethic...

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

So I'm looking at an interview some time next week or the week after. I'll post an interview ma request when I know more. Plus, the guy I'm interviewing with is coming to see the show I'm currently mixing some time this weekend. AAAAH! Excited and nervous and stuff!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Congrats on the interview, Sean!

And smonster, sorry to hear you are having such a hard day.
