Other things I neglected to do today and now must add to the docket for tomorrow: schedule car maintenance ( hate those dashboard lights), make vet appt for both cats vaccine updates, call drs for copies of latest blood work, and see if I can ride my bike around the block with modifications before physical therapy tomorrow. Sigh. Really should at least do the last two. First two have been languishing on my to do list for months already, guess they can continue waiting.
Spike ,'Selfless'
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Swimming was good. Chatted with the dude on the phone after and made plans for after my east coast visit. Admitted to utter brain-friedness after 2 challenging 12 hr shifts. Think i might have convinced him that i'm not a total flake (tho i'm certain he still doubts my into-him-ness which is admittedly somewhat lacking.)
erin, good luck on getting everything done and getting through your long shifts.

So yesterday a little birdie must have whispered in the ear of the house manager at that one house... She called me, confirmed what I suspected, which is that she never saw my PTO request, and offered to work this Saturday herself so I could have it off. She also said she would ask around to see if anyone was willing to work next weekend for me.
Yay, House Manager!
Oh, good. I hope that means your plans can move forward as you originally wished, WindSparrow.
Stay-cation, no travel plans. But the plan is to not go to work, to sleep in, to relax, to go to the farmers' market, do a little yard work and a little house work, and mostly to not go to work for a while.
WS, I'm glad you are able to get the stay-cation you very much deserve.

I didn't click the link, but then feedly subjected me to it anyway.
My nephew D is graduating from high school today. I swear he just started kindergarten yesterday. I'm sad I can't be there to see it, but I sent him a Doctor Who pocket watch as a graduation gift. Weirdly, I was just flipping through the television stations, and Kim Possible's graduation episode was one. That was one of the shows D and I used to watch together when he was little.
Elliott, best purr vibes and peaceful passing ~ma to you. Lots of love and comfort to your people.
