I welt more from band-aids than wounds usually. Latex, adhesive. Something is always willing to mess with my skin.

sj, if the object doesn't feel inflamed, then you probably can just watch it. I'd suggest outlining the area with a marker so that, in the morning, you can see if it has grown at all.

My rash from bandaids usually calms down within a day if I keep from scratching it. I take an antihistamine and put on some cortisone cream.

These were supposed to be "sensitive" so I assumed they were latex free, which they were not.

That is a really stupid definition of "sensitive," then. (I'm not actually allergic to latex, as far as I know, but my skin definitely objects to prolonged contact with it.)
