Kaylee: So how many fell madly in love with you and wanted to take you away from all this? Inara: Just the one. I think I'm slipping.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

brillig

Its relegation to the dwarf planet leagues was discussed.

Is that like the bush leagues?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

She said "bush"... Heh heh heh.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I'm feeling much better and less overwhelmed today. Still exhausted and cranky about having to reschedule my life (and health) for a stupid breach of contract/long winded civil court case (just pay the $$! Don't waste jury time! Why can't a judge handle this?!?) but At least i'm rolling with it now. Knitting and doodling pysanky design ideas helps. Everyone else is taking copious notes. I'm totally the slacker on this jury....but i also kinda feel like it's the lawyers' jobs to convince me...why should i have to take notes? If it's convincing, i'lll be convinced. I'm totally able to retain information in mah brain.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Conversation this morning with Ryan. Last night we'd been talking about the planets - their composition, their moons, how the Earth was formed, all that kind of thing. This morning it came up when discussing breakfast.

OK, this is yet another example of cool and adorable House of Tea. I can't help but see these cool conversations as a series of comic books.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Bought a pair of shoes last year that cost $100, in a moment of whimsy. I never wore them. Alas, I didn't buy them from Zappo's, so I cannot return them. Amazon is now selling that same shoe for $67. On eBay, that shoe is selling for $30. Moral of the story: never buy expensive shoes unless you know for sure you will wear them.

Does anyone wear size 11 in women's shoes and want a new pair of red sneakers?

Our wings are not tired.

I think my friend Lita wears an 11. I'll check with her.

eta: Nope, she wears a 12.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Maybe Lee?

Also, where is she? Has she been around at all lately?

Amy - Apr 18, 2014 2:10:57 pm PDT #10484 of 30002
Because books.

Lee is not allowed to play online during the workday anymore, which sucks. She's around, though! Just in Natter mostly.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I ordered a Smaug t-shirt from Zulily on 4/10, and it just shipped today. I'd already forgotten about it! Is it normal to take 8 days to ship a thing? I might have been spoiled by Amazon Prime.
