Coldwater Creek is filing for bankruptcy and closing all of it's stores. It's one of the few places where clothes fit me properly.

I saw that news. Boo. I like their stuff. And I still have a $50 Groupon for Coldwater Creek. Best be using that this weekend.

I can't find any news about whether or not the website is closing. They're having a huge sale on the web right now.

Bonny, in the past I've had numerous chalazia - infections of the oil gland at the base of the eyelash. Amazingly painful and often leading to puffy eyelids. Usually at the least convenient time, of course. Treatment was usually hot compresses and antibiotic ointment.

This was very different, I'm afraid.

After much work on my part and looking like Quasimodo for a couple of days, the pain has gone down considerably and the interior wound seems to be healing.

Can I just say, OWIE.

My surrogate mom was aghast that I took care of it myself, rather than going to the urgent care. All I could say was NUH and UH with regards to someone else wielding an implement in that general vicinity. If there had been an infection, sure, but so far, so good.
