Well, it's just good to know that when the chips are down and things look grim you'll feed off the girl who loves you to save your own ass!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

And people *can* change their mind but it isn't fair to expect someone not looking for long-term or forever to change what they want just because that is what you want. And roles reversed as well. People looking to mate and marry (or whatever) will likely do better looking for that with someone else who wants the same general thing. Even though sometimes people get together and suddenly want forever when they weren't looking for it.

Did morning birthday yoga (there were jazz hands because that never stops being funny to me and the instructor is adorable) and then planned to hang with Mom but, wow, we were not clicking. So I called it off and drove through the Monument with music blaring to jolt myself back into a good mood. I'll go back to her place for dinner. Instead I have gotten my eyebrows waxed and am getting my oil changed (I can see my house from here which I never realized until today) now. Wasn't the day I planned but why have a stressful afternoon when you don't have to? I'm certain I wouldn't have happily found the sundress I wanted if I was in a bad mood anyway. Another day. Today, I know where my towel is. Anything is possible.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

For a while now, I've kind of had an itch to find a position as a sound supervisor at a theatre. To be in charge of a department and make it my own. After I got such a great response to my resume from the aquarium job, I threw my hat in the ring for a sound supervisor job at a new theatre under construction out here, after they listed the position as available.

It was a couple of weeks of anxious waiting, but I heard back from them today, and they want to schedule an interview! YOU GUYS I'M SO EXCITED! The way he spoke in his response to my cover letter and resume, it sounds like I've got a very good shot at this. And best of all, I've got a significant chunk of the best and most sought after sound and theatre professionals in Los Angeles in my corner.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Sean, that's excellent!

::Drive By::

Happy Birthday, Ms. Cass! Hope you enjoy the day in exactly the way you want to.

P.S. Thanks to you...or was it Steph...who gave me the intel re Free Birthday Brow Wax. My unruly brows are going to see Rachel this Friday, and not a moment too soon!

Hmmm, I've never been to NOLA...

Oh, and -t, not sure how long ago you posted, but my Mom's debit card got hacked a few weeks ago, too ($85 for internet porn - we were not amused...although from here it IS pretty funny, now I think about it). We contacted the bank, and the billing company that the charge came from, then I called the police non-emergency line and they took a report by phone. (Not that I expect them to pursue it very hotly, but now we have records that we've done everything we could do).

eta: Awesome Sean!! Ever so much Interview~ma!!

Awesome news, Sean! Very happy for you.

I totally forgot about this. I paid for mine. Locally, so it was probably just as well. But still, that is a birthday freebie that I would totally do if I could. My brows were pretty tragic and I vaguely cleaned them with tweezers but the difference after the wax is pretty noticeable.

And thanks. It's been a good day. Sometimes you just have to call an audible and do something different. Plus? Good brows and my skin is happier after I did an aspirin masque. Happier inside, happier outside.
