I would totally be willing to organize a mardi gras time frame gift exchange if people would be interested.
It could be like a SUPER slacker exchange.
Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. 2012--better luck next time.

Gifts must be purple, green, or gold.
Checks calendar. Oh, hey, lundi gras is my birthday.
I'm in. Especially if I am allowed to regift beads and throws I have lying around from days of yore as part of the festivities.
I have no beads to regift, but I could totally do purple, green or gold.
That definitely could be a lot of fun. I have no beads, either, but I could get behind restricting the gift palette to Mardi Gras colors.
I AM SO IN FOR THIS IDEA I DO NOT EVEN KNOW.
Elfster is super easy to use as an organizer if people want to.
I could go for a super super slacker exchange. We could also celebrate Groundhog Day and Arbor Day.
Ah ha ha! That's a brilliant idea.
Eeee! I just came home to an amazing box full of excellent stuff! Lotions and angels and a beautiful pottery (soap?) dispenser. If soap, is perfect, because I can't fit bar soap on my pathetic bathroom sink. Oh! Or I could put the lotion in, obviously. And I love the crafty engels!!
Thanks, Secret Gift Giver! Who I think is Calli.....
Also, my giftee should know that I consider the gifting season to run through Three Kings Day on Jan 6....
