If every vampire who said he was at the crucifixion was actually there, it would have been like Woodstock.

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2012: If the world doesn't end, I'm going to need a note

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. 2012--better luck next time.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I'm envying your Art Deco calendar. I had one a few years ago, but have not found one since. I'm nuts about it and would cheerfully live in an Art Deco world if I could!

I have not gotten any packages yet but I did get a lovely, teasing card from my Secret Santa, so my hopes are up!

I have most of the shopping done and now must commence with the packaging of my gift to send post haste!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Me too!

The closest I've gotten is going to movies at the Paramount Theater in Oakland, which is pretty much like visiting Art Deco Emerald City. (That's where Matilda is going to see the Nutcracker next week.)

Though picture books of the 1939 Treasure island Exposition are also Art Deco Fantasyland.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

David, have you even done the tour at The Paramount Theater. You get to see so much more...it is gorgeous. And my kids grew up with The Nutcracker there.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Not sure if I should do this here or on Elfster... but if my Secret Santa package will arrive between 12/21 and 12/28, it should go to my parents' address in Raleigh, NC. Hmm, will xpost on Elfster as well.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Secret Mardi Gras elves?

I am intrigued by this idea and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.

Which I'm sure surprises no one.

King cake! Beads! Zulu coconuts! Doubloons! And maybe, if you've been very good, a Muse shoe.
