Goodbye and Good Riddance 2012: If the world doesn't end, I'm going to need a note

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. 2012--better luck next time.

Another anonymous package for me today. A new pink cover for my phone. For this one, it would be great if someone could verify to someone else on the list that this was from my secret santa. it seems a certain boy had told the grandparents to get it for me as his gift, so there may be some distraughtness here that it was sent to our house.

also if anyone sent my child an anonymous iTunes gift card, verification on that would be awesome.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I'd like to volunteer to be a stand in if anyone doesn't get gifted this year. I'm such a slacker that I missed even the slacker Santa.

Thrive to spite them

I got a package I believe is from my Secret Santa, should I open it?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Go for it! I opened every single one of mine as they came. I like the way it draws things out; I find it more suspenseful. But you may like hoarding your presents to open them all at once to bask in that feeling of "it's all mine, MINE."

For me it depends on if there are other things on Christmas. I like opening the gift from here as they come since my Christmas day is busy, but everyone's isn't.

Thrive to spite them

I opened the card so THANK YOU BONNNY!

But the packages are wrapped so nice in this pretty purple paper that I think I'm going to wait and enjoy looking at them on my bookshelf for awhile.

Oh Askye, I'm so glad it arrived on time. I just mailed it on Thursday, how awesome is the Post Office?

I was just coming in to say that I received a super cute card from my secret santa, via msbelle. (Thank you both) And, that I'm truly feeble at the 'secret' portion of the program.

I'm all HERE IS SOME STUFF I HOPE YOU LIKE! No mystery at all.

I felt bad that I could not do my customary "I am the BOW QUEEN" wrapping adornments. I figured they'd get smooshed in transit and just be sad-looking on arrival.

Still, I hope you enjoy the giftees and have a lovely, fun-filled holiday.
