easier said than done, but don't feel embarrassed. If you were not dealing with jackasses in the health system, this would have already been sorted and you would have received appropriate care on Monday.
just ask to go home. you have personal issues to sort out. you are taking care of yourself and that is the first priority.
I have the psychiatric emergency hotline number. I'm going to go talk to my boss and see about going home and calling them. Thx people.
Definitely just go home sick if you need to, Allyson.
Is what you need a referral to this place? Maybe someone here can help with calls to figure out how to do it. (I'm about to walk into a meeting or I'd do it.)
if you have to, blame everything on the gall bladder. that's discomfort enough and most people will have sympathy pains.
For my own problems, I find walking around humming Wild Ones is helping me.
It appears that they do not have the same sort of psych set up that we do here.
If you are in immediate danger to yourself you should go to the emergency room, call 911, or call the Suicide Prevention Hotline 1-800-273-8255.
It looks like the best thing is to go to Urgent Care-- because your situation cannot wait 24 hours, but it is not immediate.

That's it, Jesse. It looked ideal because I could get daily care but go home and sleep in my own bed at night. It seemed safe to me without feeling imprisoned.
Allyson, I hope you can get the care you need!!
I am so tired of this health system we have. It's beyond dysfunctional. It's anti functional, and that goes double for mental health.
Yep. On Tuesday, I could not go to just any Urgent Care place, I had to find the Urgent Care facility that my insurance co. recommended.
I am trying to find a primary health physician (since I don't have one since I moved). 2 doctors said "no" because of my insurance (Blue Cross).
Seriously, le nubian? We have Blue Cross and I've never had a problem except in one specific case.
Allyson, just remember we're here if you need anything. I'm so sorry the broken healthcare system is making it more difficult than it needs to be.
