Librarian Warlord

I still have a job, as do all of my people, but this week has been a bloodbath so we're not exactly feeling good about it.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Good god, msbelle, that's horrible. No wonder people are still traumatized.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Yes, it's awful. I had never heard the story before yesterday. I know people who were there and had to run from the buildings he was tearing down. completely crazy.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yipes msbelle, how creepy and scary.

I am having motivation issue with work and housecleaning. sigh. I've been trying all day, and failing to work for more than 30 minutes or so at a time. And what needs to be done will take more time than that.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

msbelle, how terrible.

Sparky, I'm glad you and yours still have jobs, but I understand why you wouldn't feel good about it.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

For your amusement - Downton Abbey ... as played out on Facebook.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Good lord, msbelle. I'm not going to lie--I thought you were talking Clarendon at first, but it's not like there's any better place for a nightmare like that to happen. I can imagine how that would send a corporate shiver through the workplace.

My head hurts like a MOFO. I have a go/no go meeting at 1:00, and I think it's a go, and I wonder if I can go home after that, considering the 20 or so hours of planned, near-consecutive, work this weekend...

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I think I missed something-- did a worker ROLL OVER PEOPLE AND THINGS with some sort of machinery?
