People take pictures of the sky using a mirror and glass pieces in space. I store them in computers so people can look at them later again and again. I make sure that the pictures are right. People learn about the sky from looking at them. This tells us stuff about space and us.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
It's not that I didn't know what sarameg did, because...hey, paying attention, but I like reading it that way.
"I make sure the pictures are right" simplifies everything.
That was actually pretty easy for me. What I do-Do is so jargon filled and specific, being reductive to explain my job has become second nature. And the above isn't at all inaccurate; I make sure the data is good and accessible. Doing that is just a LOT more complicated than that statement would suggest.
eta: hah! Xpost.
I point light at people who act out stories for other people to watch. I can also use the light to help tell the story and make it pretty to watch.
I keep thinking about bangs, too.
So tomorrow morning my dad is having a procedure done on his heart. It's relatively minor (if all goes well he'll go home Fri afternoon) but still... it's his heart!
I happily pass on all the heart ~ma to aurelia's dad.
Thank you, Connie.
Sick people need help. Doctors try giving things to help them. I go to doctors places and make sure they do the plan right and have all the right papers. I look at papers that say what the doctor did and how the sick person feels. Then I send that to my job where they find out if it helps the sick people.
Okay, I actually tried the ten-hundred word thing with my job description, and "drug," "medicine," "medication," "pill," and all their plurals are not in their. I would have thought at least "drug" or "pill" would be. So:
When people are sick, sometimes the doctor tells them to take things to make them feel better. Some people write about those things that make sick people feel better. I look at what they write and make sure everyone can understand it.
(Although I suppose I could abbreviate it to: People write things. I look at what they write and make sure everyone can understand it.) (Or: I move words.)

Just type your stuff into the text box, and edit until you don't have errors.
Ah. Good tip.
I just searched the list.
I only want to use top ten-hundred words now.
I'm watching a show where US police catch really bad guys who kill many people in a line.
